  • Closai is a digital closet and styling assistant built around you. We capture and digitize your purchases, allowing you to visualize your wardrobe and get relevant styling and shopping recommendations all in one place. We believe getting dressed should feel more like great style looks - effortless.

  • Closai leverages the best of fashion and technology. Our proprietary framework to ClosetizeTM your wardrobe is built around trusted brands and retailers and decades of ecommerce and styling expertise. We pair that with cutting-edge AI technology to offer a new, fully-connected fashion ecosystem where each user is the center of their own experience.

  • Gmail sync is the easiest way to instantly set up your closet and keep it updated. 

    If you don’t use Gmail, notice something missing or just want another option, try our email forwarding system. Forward any purchase order email to your personal Closai alias (found in your Profile Settings) and we’ll ClosetizeTM your items. 

    If you don’t have a digital receipt, use our item upload process - we’ll still take care of the heavy lifting and ClosetizeTM your products.

  • When we ClosetizeTM your wardrobe, we automatically digitize and catalog the items you have purchased, so you can visualize what you physically own in a professional, digital format. We leverage our proprietary retail framework to do this, allowing you to effortlessly browse your collection with high-quality, standardized product details. No amateur photoshoots or manual labor required.

  • Closai uses limited, read-only email access to perform its ClosetizationTM service. We pinpoint purchase order emails from a specific list of trusted retailers and catalogue the items you bought. We don’t look for or store any details beyond what is needed to import your purchase history. You can change your email sync settings with Google anytime.

  • Gmail sync allows us to get your digital collection set up effortlessly, and keep it that way. We jump-start your closet with all eligible purchases from the past five years and automatically add new products as they come in. All with just a few clicks.

  • Make sure to sync the Gmail account where your order confirmations and purchase receipts go. If you need to switch Gmail accounts, you can do so in your Email Account settings in your Profile.

    If you synced the right account, make sure you have enabled us permission to view email. If you’re not sure, you can manage this in your Google settings. 

    1. Manage Your Google Account (from Gmail, click your icon in the top right to find this action)

  • We have you covered. Each user gets a personal email alias for their Closai. You can forward emails to your alias from any email provider and we will ClosetizeTM your purchases. No need to change anything in the email body or subject line - just forward straight there.

    For users who rely entirely on this service, we have some tips to make the process easier (see the next FAQ). We’d also love to know what alternative email service you’d like to use. Feel free to email us at contact@closai.io to let us know.

  • For initial closet set-up, we recommend searching your inbox for your favorite merchants or brands and bulk-forwarding to your alias. 

    To keep your closet updated from there, consider setting up auto-forward email rules from your favorite retailers. Alternatively, you can create a Gmail account for your order-related emails and auto-forward that entire inbox to your Closai alias.

  • Closai currently imports purchases from nearly every major retailer, covering thousands of your favorite brands. To see the full active list, click here.

  • We are constantly working to add more retailers to our universe. To let us know of one we’re missing, email us directly at contact@closai.io or forward an order confirmation email to your personal alias (username@closets.closai.io) and we’ll add it to our list.

  • There are lots of easy tips and tricks for managing your Closai. Check out the tutorials in your Profile Settings to see our most helpful highlights.

  • Forward any order confirmation email to your personal alias (username@closets.closai.io) and we’ll ClosetizeTM your items and add them to your digital collection.

    You can also manually add an item anytime using the (+) button. We made it easy to search for a product and take a screenshot, upload from your photos or take a picture. We’ll ClosetizeTM the items from there, making sure all of your products are cohesive.

  • Closai will automatically remove your returns! But we’re still perfecting our process, so if we miss something, or you want to remove something for another reason, we’ve made sure you can do so. There are a few easy ways to delete items from your Closet. Check out the tutorials in your Profile Settings to see the most helpful highlights.

    1. Swipe right on any item in your list view to access the trash can.

    2. Select (multiple) items in the grid view and click the trash can to delete in bulk.

    3. From any item Detail page, edit and scroll down to delete. 

  • For some order confirmations we aren’t able to find an image of your items. These are usually older purchases, but can sometimes occur for other reasons.

    To make sure we catalogue your full wardrobe, we import the item details anyway, and leave a placeholder image. You can easily add your own image to the product in the item Details. Simply search and take a screenshot, upload from your photos or take a picture. We’ll ClosetizeTM the item there, making sure all of your products are cohesive.
